The Certified Guides Association of Georgia (CGAG) is a non-governmental organization that certifies professional tour guides, protects the interests of both guides and clients, oversees guide qualifications, and contributes to improving the overall quality of tourism services in Georgia.

Mandatory platform registration for tour operators came into effect on June 1 of this year. The registration deadline is set for the end of 2026, and fines will be enforced starting January 1, 2027.
