The Georgian Certified Guides Association is a neutral, apolitical, non-commercial organization that certifies professional guides and, accordingly, protects the rights and interests of its certified member guides, as well as the interests of clients who use certified guide services. The Association ensures the verification, validation, and monitoring of its members’ qualifications and informs all stakeholders with the aim of improving the effectiveness of tourist guide services in Georgia, including through participation in legislative and public policy development processes.

The mission of the Association is to promote the training of professional guides in Georgia and the development of tour guiding services in accordance with advanced standards, by enhancing the professionalism of guides and supporting their proper employment and the delivery of high-quality services.
